Mechanical Quality Engineer

One of our leading clients is searching for a Mechanical Quality Engineer. Our client is a large and successful EPC contractor to the Power Plant Industry.


This is a multi-fuel concept Power Plant. This is an efficient electricity plant based on a wide range of fuels such as natural gas, coal and biomass. Important is the use of gasification technology. With the multi-fuel concept, our Client offers the best solution for generating as clean as possible electricity flexibly and efficiently. Another advantage of this concept is the large-scale production capacity.


Responsibilities:
• You will be based on site but this is a heavily document based assignment. You will be required to produce documentation and follow up on both sub-contractor installation and follow up on client comments.

• The current QA/QC team are familiar with high pressure piping and vessels so can take care of PED issues, welding and heat treatment issues, so you should have experience working with dynamic rotating equipments to support this part of the project. This would includes equipment such as pumps, valves and a

• You should have previous experience working on a Power Plant, but it is not mandatory. The equipment documentation you will be producing is quite general to the Mechanical discipline, not too Power Plant specific so even Oil & Gas / Petrochemical experience will be acceptable. You need to be familiar with the equipment involved and the usual types of documentation that needs to be produced during the construction phase.

For the avoidance of doubt, this is not a Mechanical Supervisor position (construction supervision). This is purely a document based role on site.
