Site Mechanical Construction Supervisor
Western Holland

My client is building a new gas-fired power plant in Amsterdam. New investments into production capacity means our client can continue to supply electricity to its customers in an environmentally friendly manner.
The Project:
The new gas fired power plant will be a CCGT plant (Combined Cycle Gas Turbine). This technology offers high output around 55% so it is very environmentally friendly. The new power plant will have a max capacity of 435 MW. This is enough to provide power to over 700,000 homes. What’s more, the new power plant will be capable of supplying heating. Because of the limited current heating needs in the vicinity of the location, no heating will be supplied initially.

Your Profile:
HTS/TU level (BSc/MSc), Mechanical Engineering
You will need to have experience working on previous Power Plant projects before, ideally CCGT projects.
You should have knowledge of all mechanical – technical – systems under construction on similar Power Stations (ST, GT, WST etc).
Supervision/Coordination of Static Mech. Supervisor, Rotating Mech. Supervisor, Piping Supervisors – your team of 3.
Also you’re responsible for the supervision of Main Contractor Mechanical Construction Works.
Verification of Technical (Mechanical) Contract Specification
