Commissioning Planning Engineer

Job Objective:
Prepare commissioning schedules in the head office and control of such schedules during commissioning phase at the yard.

Responsibilities:

-    Translate Commissioning execution plan / philosophy into onshore and offshore commissioning schedules, ensuring all relations with engineering, procurement, construction and hook-up activities are set.
-    Identify, monitor and analyse resource requirements (Including temporary power and utility supplies), progress and productivity trends in order to surface schedule constraints.
-    Align progress measurement form Completions database into commissioning schedules
-    Liaise with Commissioning supervisors on progress of the works
-  & nbsp; Identify corrective actions to enable activities to be brought back on schedule when deviations are observed.
-    Implement management of change related to commissioning scope.

Place in the Organisation:
Reporting to the Project Controls Manager

Competency Requirements:

-    20+ years planning experience in construction and commissioning
-    At least one major offshore hook-up experience
-    Good understanding of construction & commissioning engineering; being able to translate “what to do” activities in “how to do” tasks
-    Fully knowledgeable with P6
-    Experience with Completion databases (preferably PIMS)
-    Excellent social skills (Accurate, Communicative, Pro-active, Initiative).
