One of our largest engineering organisations is currently searching for Construction Manager to run the construction of a €1billion Ethylene Plant in Abu Dhabi.

The Project
This is the construction of a new build Ethylene Plant. It’s a Greenfield project. The overall investment size of the plant is circa €1billion. The construction is scheduled to be completed around end of 2012. There will be an internal team of about 50 engineers, 30 of which will be working for our hiring client (the company your assigned to) who you will manage directly (typically construction discipline superintendants) - they will in turn manage the workforce from the main construction contractor within each discipline area.

The Role
•    You will be working for the leading Engineering organisation in the project consortium.
•    You should have experience working as a Construction Manager for large Petrochemical projects such as ethylene and polypropylene plants.
•    You will be managing and supervising the main construction contractor (globally renowned specialist company) to ensure all deliverables and targets are hit accordingly. 
•    Your experience should not be limited to one or two construction disciplines; you should have experience overseeing the entire group of construction disciplines (with a particular focus on mechanical). This is important that you have an overview rather than a specific discipline skill set.

Duration:                  Until approx end of 2012
Work Schedule:     6 Day weeks (Saturday – Thursday), 10hours a day
