Project:
The project is a Coal Fired Power Plant that is based in Germany. It is owned by one of the world’s leading power organisations and is being co-ordinated out of their office within Germany. This lignite-fired power plant will have a net capacity of 2100 MW making it the world’s largest of its kind. What’s more, due to a special optimized plant-engineering approach for lignite-fired power plants, developed by one of the industries leaders, this plant will achieve over 43% efficiency.

Responsibilities:
• Your key responsibilities will be planning the works of steel construction, boiler, welding and piping equipment.
• Work to the overall schedule adding weekly plans
• Key attention to composing the detailed plans for the project
• Assisting the site supervisors and working closely with them to help them give detailed reports and feedback to site managers.
• To be able to provide information and reports in a quantitative manor, information that is scalable and precise.
• This isn’t a straight forward Primavera planning role working through levels 2 and 3, this would require planning down to level 4 and you should be able to prepare the detailed statistics, reports, progress curves, plans, actual achievements and be able to give comparisons.

Our client is looking for someone who has a track record of planning procedures on large projects such as this. Ideally the candidate will have a power generation background, however, exceptional candidates from similar industries may also be considered.

Requirements :
• German speaking
• Experience using Primavera P6
• Ability to start immediately
• Need people who aren’t looking to just ferry information between two parties, need someone to interrogate the plan, think on their feet and ask questions about the information to make it more precise.
