Project Manager

One of my Global Engineering clients is currently looking for a Project Manager to be based in Belgium.

You will be running the engineering phase of a €5.2 Billion Fertilizer project being run out of their office in Brussels. The basic and detailed engineering is due to run for 2 years with a further 1 year on site in Jordan to construct the plant. The project will hold around 50 people and will continue to increase when it peaks. The engineering phase has only recently started and the Proposals Manager is currently heading the project- this is the reason why they are looking for a Project Manager to join their organisation.

You will be running the project and be expected to perform all the necessary and suitable functions of a Project Manager, including but not limited to:
- Keeping to schedule
- Controlling budget
- Leading a team
- Managing a multi-discipline project

- You will be someone who has in the region of 20 years industry experience.
- Specific experience running/Project managing large engineering projects previously, ideally in the Fertilizer and Chemical Industry.
- You’re likely to have work for similar large scale global EPC companies.
- English and French speaking necessary. All project communication and documentation is in English, however, the spoken language in the office in French.
- Would have worked on projects for their duration, dedicated to the role.
- Working with projects who involve equipments such as Tanks, Columns, Flairs, also working in Re-vamp jobs are attractive.

Start: Immediate (Project just commenced Engineering phase)
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Duration: 2 Years (Minimum) – May be asked to Manage Construction (+1 Year)
Rate: Fully dependant on experience.
